COLERAINE Women Reserves picked up a point after a six-goal thriller played in difficult condition against 1st Bangor Ladies…

The Bannsiders endured a difficult start as the visitors raced into a two goal lead.

However, Coleraine showed a never-say-die attitude and pulled a goal back before the break as Lindsay Norton found the back of the net.

As the rain kept pouring down, Coleraine then levelled as Ursula Rakowska made it 2-2 with a clinical finish.

The comeback was then complete as the Bannsiders took the lead thereafter when Norton grabbed her second of the evening.

Just when it looked like the Coleraine would pick up all three points, 1st Bangor had the final say as they netted late on as the game finished 3-3.

Both teams deserve immense credit for the entertaining game in the pouring rain.
