‘I didn’t know where to run’ – Jarvis

COLERAINE midfielder Aaron Jarvis spoke to the club’s media channel after he registered his second goal of the season last night…

The Bannsiders made it five successive wins in a row as Jarvis added to Matthew Shevlin’s opener to make it 15 games unbeaten but the 23-year-old insists the players aren’t counting the games as they are simply taking each one as it comes.

Jarvis remarked that he has been in and out of the team so far this campaign due to the busy fixture schedule but hopes his performance can give him the nod when the Stripes host Carrick Rangers next Saturday.

The ex-Institute ace powered home in the second-half under a sea of bodies to confirm all three points against Stephen Baxter’s side, but acknowledged that he could have had even more after testing the visitors’ goal mouth on several occasions.

The midfielder admits the mood in the dressing room is ‘fantastic’ ahead of a ‘tough game’ against Carrick Rangers next weekend.
