The Bannsiders slipped to their second defeat of the season as first-half goals from Shaun Leppard and Gareth Brown sealed a 2-0 win for the home side.

Kearney admitted post-match that he was disappointed with his side’s reaction to losing the first goal, as well as telling the players: “I said to the boys after the game, if you’re a tourist and you’re coming over to watch the team who are top of the table against the team in 11th, I dread to think what they would go away thinking or saying.”

The gaffer has demanded that his squad doesn’t believe the hype of going top of the league and previews tomorrow night’s BetMcLean League Cup semi-final against Linfield.
