The 30-year-old admits he took a couple of weeks to decide his future after leaving Larne but once he knew the plans set out by Oran Kearney, then his mind was mind up.

Jarvis acknowledged that he has heard good stories from other players about their time at The Showgrounds and that working under Kearney can give him a new lease of life.

The full-back revealed that he knows several of the squad from former playing days and that he wants to get as fit as possible during pre-season.
