COLERAINE midfielder Aaron Jarvis admits he is looking forward to the start of this year’s Danske Bank Premiership campaign…

The ex-Institute ace remarked on a ‘tough’ pre-season that also included competing in the inaugural edition of the Europa Conference League.

Jarvis – who has been at the club since 2019 – believes the arrivals of Rodney Brown, Conor McKendry and Cathair Friel have added to an already strong panel at Oran Kearney’s disposal.

The 24-year-old struggled with a few niggling injuries during 2020/21 and labelled the campaign as “a bit of a nightmare” but hopes to put that behind him.

The Bannsiders start the season against Larne at Inver Park on Friday night and Jarvis admits he was impressed with their recent European run but knows they will be fully prepared for battle.
