In what was a close vote between four nominees, Carson topped the polls ahead of Martin Gallagher in second, Matthew Shevlin in third and Dean Jarvis in fourth.

Carson made a welcome return from injury in the month that also saw him score in the 3-1 home win against Newry City at The Showgrounds.

Josh will be presented with his award in due course.
