COLERAINE manager Oran Kearney spoke of his delight as the Bannsiders reached a fourth successive Irish Cup semi-final…
The Bannsiders trailed twice at Inver Park, but turned the game on its head as goals from James McLaughlin, Stephen Lowry and Eoin Bradley sealed a 3-2 win in East Antrim.
Kearney believes his players deserve praise for their strong mental attitude for staying in the game and that they didn’t panic after falling behind on two occasions.
The manager also asked his players not to rest on recent Irish Cup and League Cup successes and pinpointed the fact that William Murphy has over 20 winners’ medals from his playing career and he hopes that hunger can be spread across the Bannsiders changing room.
With big clashes ahead in the Danske Bank Premiership, Kearney admitted he has had to manage his squad and he gave an update on the future of goalkeeper Chris Johns.
