The Bannsiders – who suffered their first loss of the season against Warrenpoint Town last weekend – were behind at half-time but sealed an important three points at The Showgrounds.

Kearney alluded to the fact that the Stripes are in a “results business” and his players showed huge resilience to get the job done via Alexander Gawne’s 86th minute winner.

The boss also heaped praise on the noise levels at The Showgrounds and believes if it wasn’t for the atmosphere generated, then his side wouldn’t have recorded all three points.
