Kearney: ‘We are a work in progress’

COLERAINE manager Oran Kearney was pleased to his side register all three points from their visit to Carrick Rangers…

The Bannsiders took the lead after just 12 minutes through Eoin Bradley, but the scores were levelled as Caolan Loughran netted from the spot. However, Coleraine would regain the lead before the half-time whistle as Loughran headed into his own net from Nedas Maciulaitis’ effort.

The three points were sealed after the break as Aaron Jarvis headed home from Ben Doherty’s corner-kick, before Aaron Traynor scored his first goal for the club to complete the 4-1 victory.

Kearney hopes Lyndon Kane’s captaincy will help take him to ‘another level’ as well as previewing a ‘tough game’ against Glentoran on Tuesday night in the BetMcLean League Cup.
