Signing

Kelly joins the Bannsiders

COLERAINE FC is thrilled to announce the signing of defender Graham Kelly…

The 25-year-old joins the Bannsiders on a three-year deal following the expiry of his contract at Larne.

The Dublin native started his career at Sheffield United and made his debut for the Blades in April 2016, before moving onto a permanent switch at Port Vale after a loan spell at Stalybridge Celtic.

Kelly, who can play centre-back or left-back, would also spend time on loan at Bradford Park Avenue and Southport during the 2017-18 season.

However, Graham would sign for Larne in 2018 and helped the Inver Reds get promoted from the Championship and then win the Premiership title last season.

Speaking after securing the signature of his first arrival in this summer’s transfer window, boss Oran Kearney admitted his latest addition was a player who always impressed him.

“We are delighted to get Graham on board,” he said.

“Since Graham joined Larne in 2018 he has always impressed me and stood out when we played against him.

“We feel he has all the attributes to kick on here at Coleraine and we are looking forward to working with him.”

The Club can confirm that Kelly will wear the number 5 shirt next season.
