RUAIDHRI Higgins said yesterday’s result at Bangor was “a big win” for his players…

The Bannsiders left Clandeboye Park with all three points as Matthew Shevlin and Ben Wylie netted first half goals.

Higgins stated that the performance in the opening 45 minutes was extremely good and how they didn’t concede many chances throughout the game.

Wylie’s goal was his first since arriving in January and Higgins hailed the “individual brilliance” of it and how the midfielder has so much potential.

Glentoran are up next on the schedule and Higgins has asked for more clarity as to when the game will definitely take place, as well as giving his take as the January transfer window comes to a close.
