Legends to return for Charity

A LEGENDS game will take place at The Showgrounds next weekend in aid of charity…

The fixture between Coleraine Legends and Linfield Legends will take place at The Showgrounds next Sunday (August 25), with kick-off scheduled for 1pm.

Household names of yesteryear will turn out for the Bannsiders such as Pat McAllister, Rory Hamill, Jody Tolan, John Devine, Barry Johnson, Sean Armstrong, David Ogilby, Marc Mukendi, Paul Gaston, Stuart Clanachan, plus more.

The Linfield Legends will see Winkie Murphy, Gregg Shannon, Mark Picking and many more strut their stuff on the Ballycastle Road.

Admission has been set for £5 adults, with kids going free. All money donated will go to SPORTS – a suicide awareness charity.

A kids play area, food outlets and entertainment will be on show, as well as DJ’s X-Ray and Davie Black from 8pm.
