Loan Report

EAMON Fyfe and Lewis Tosh are out on loan for the season and here is a recap of their progress during the month of August…

Fyfe would link-up again with former boss Niall Currie at Portadown whilst Lewis Tosh is currently embarking on a second successive loan at Limavady United.

Luca Doherty has also joined the Roesiders on loan, however, his deal was completed late in the transfer window and therefore he didn’t play during the month of August.

EAMON FYFE

The striker joined Portadown on loan to mark a reunion with Niall Currie after previously working together at Dundela.

Eamon would play all of Portadown’s games in the calendar month as they beat Dergview and Institute and lost to Ballyclare Comrades and Bangor.

The 25-year-old would find the back of the net in the win at Dergview on the opening day of the season.

Portadown have been drawn at home to Coagh United in the first round of the BetMcLean Cup.

LEWIS TOSH

Toshy would make 38 appearances during a loan spell at the Limavady Showgrounds last year and he has since returned to the Roesiders.

The left-sided player would feature in all three games during August as Paul Owens’ side beat Tobermore United in the BetMcLean Cup, Portavogie Rangers in the Irish Cup and Banbridge Town in the Premier Intermediate League.

Lewis would net once against Tobrmore United and twice versus Banbridge Town.

United will face Dundela at home in the second round of the BetMcLean Cup.
