Loan Report

COLERAINE currently have three players out on loan and here’s a recap of how they’re getting on…

Eamon Fyfe has linked-up again with former boss Niall Currie at Portadown whilst Lewis Tosh is currently embarking on a second successive loan at Limavady United.

Luca Doherty has also joined the Roesiders on loan as he hopes to gain senior experience under Paul Owens’ leadership.

EAMON FYFE

Eamon would help Portadown profit from a good month as the striker played in all five matches during September.

The striker would start in the league defeat against H&W Welders, as well as in the victories against Annagh United, Knockbreda and Ards.

He would come off the bench and net twice in the Mid-Ulster Cup win against Lurgan Town, as well as scoring in the aforementioned victory against Annagh United.

LEWIS TOSH

Toshy would also help Limavady pick up five wins from five in three different competitions throughout September.

The wide man would start four of those contests and was a used substitute in the other.

After having to miss out in the North-West Cup tie against Coleraine, the 18-year-old would feature against Dollingstown and Tobermore United in the Premier Intermediate League, as well as Greenisland in the Irish Cup and Portavogie in the Intermediate Cup.

There would be a further meeting with Tobermore United as the Roesiders came out on top in the Craig Memorial Cup.

Toshy would net once against Greenisland.

LUCA DOHERTY

Luca completed a loan move late in the summer transfer window meaning September has been his first taste of football at United.

The winger started once and was a used substitute in the other four games as Paul Owens’ side won every game.

Luca will be eager to get as many minutes as possible to aid in his development.
