COLERAINE players and management staff paid a visit to Causeway Hospital and Mountfern Adult Centre to spread some festive cheer…
In what is the most wonderful time of the year, the club decided to visit those young and old at the hospital and handed out some goodie bags in the process.
Earlier in the afternoon, the first-team squad at The Showgrounds stopped by at Mountfern Adult Centre in the town to say their hellos and meet some of our biggest supporters.
Coleraine head coach Dean Shiels commented: “It was a wonderful afternoon, and it was great to chat to the children and their parents, adult patients, as well as the NHS staff doing such an amazing job.
“We were welcomed with open arms at both Causeway Hospital and Mountfern, and it was great to spend some time in the local community. Visits like these are something I’ve done at all clubs I’ve been at and I realise the importance of giving back.
“On behalf of everyone at Coleraine Football Club, I would like to wish everyone at the hospital and Mountfern Adult Centre a very Merry Christmas.”
