Lowry named POTY

COLERAINE midfielder Stephen Lowry has been named as the colerainefc.com Player of the Year…

The Limavady man received the majority of the votes to beat off Lyndon Kane in second and Curtis Allen in third.

Lowry was ever present in the Coleraine engine room and his performances meant he was shortlisted for the Ulster Footballer of the Year award.

The 34-year-old made the most appearances for Oran Kearney’s side last season with 44 and he found the back of the net on five occasions as the Bannsiders secured European football for 2021/22.
