Lyndon’s Gala Dinner

LYNDON Kane held his first event of his testimonial year as friends, family and fans were present at a Gala Dinner last night…

Attendees enjoyed a three-course meal, followed by tea and coffee at the Lodge Hotel in Coleraine. The special guest was former Northern Ireland international Stephen Lomas who answered a series of questions about his career.

Lyndon’s dad Mark Kane addressed the audience by sharing his early memories of Lyndon playing football right through to playing for the first-team at The Showgrounds.

First-team manager Oran Kearney also paid tribute to Lyndon’s dedication from overcoming three serious injuries to reach the ten-year landmark before we heard from the main man himself.

The Lyndon Kane testimonial committee places on record their sincere thanks to everyone involved in organising the event – including music from The Manouche Boys and DJ Triggs, photos by Clement Dealey and host Grant Cameron – plus all the staff at the Lodge Hotel and indeed to those who graced us with their attendance.

The committee are also grateful to those who donated prizes to the raffle and to those who bought items in the auction, led by Director Richard McFetridge.

Keep an eye on Lyndon’s dedicated social media pages in relation to further events planned over the next 12 months.
