Coleraine would return to the summit of the Danske Bank Premiership after the hard fought 3-2 win against Niall Currie’s side.

After making a bright start to proceedings, the Bannsiders would fall behind as Lloyd Anderson pounced on a defensive error to coolly slot past Chris Johns. However, Coleraine would quickly respond as Aaron Canning’s superb pass found James McLaughlin who steered his effort into the bottom corner.

In a frantic end to the first-half, the visitors would once again take the lead as Johns initially saved from Sachem but the American-born striker was on hand to fire home unmarked.

Coleraine needed a big second-half performance to leave with all three points and they were awarded a lifeline on 58 minutes as Jamie Glackin went to ground inside the box. The responsibility was given to Ben Doherty who calmly slotted past Hogg.

The Bannsiders ensured there would be a grandstand finish as substitute Alexander Gawne seized upon a loose ball to cleverly chip the ball over Hogg and into the net.
