HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ victory against Ballymena United can now be viewed on the club’s official YouTube account…

Ruaidhri Higgins’ men made a return to winning ways in the Sports Direct Premiership after a 3-1 success against their derby rivals.

Coleraine hit the front with 90 seconds on the clock when Rowan McDonald’s ball forward was flicked on by Matthew Shevlin into the path of Will Patching who made no mistake.

In truth, the Bannsiders dominated the entirety of the first-half as Shevlin, Cooper and McDonald well went close soon after.

However, the pressure finally paid off on 42 minutes when Levi Ives picked out Shevlin and his instinctive shot on the turn found the bottom corner.

Just three minutes after the restart, Coleraine added a third and in fine style as Ives, Glackin and Dean Jarvis all combined to find Shevlin who stroked home his second of the afternoon.

Ballymena pulled a goal back through Ben Kennedy’s finish but Coleraine held firm to run out 3-1 victors.
