HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ win against Bangor can now be viewed on the club’s official YouTube account…

Coleraine secured all three points at The Showgrounds as Joel Cooper and Matthew Shevlin found the back of the net against the Seasiders.

A strong start by Coleraine was rewarded on seven minutes when a fine team move was finished off by a crisp finish from Cooper into the bottom corner.

Chances kept on coming thereafter but the lead was doubled on 15 minutes as Cooper centred the ball for Shevlin to head in at the back post.

Ruaidhri Higgins’ men will feel they should have added to their advantage before and after the restart – including Cooper hitting the post – but they had a scare at the other end when Jack O’Mahony fired wide and Ben Arthurs hit straight at Ryan Schofield.

The final chance of the game saw Bangor ‘keeper Patrick Grogan made a sublime stop to somehow claw away Jamie McGonigle’s goalbound effort.
