HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ draw against Carrick Rangers can now be viewed on the club’s official YouTube account…

Coleraine picked up a point on the road as Will Patching’s opening goal was cancelled out by Mikey Place’s equaliser.

The Bannsiders made a bright start in east Antrim and hit the crossbar on six minutes when Joel Cooper’s instinctive effort came back off the woodwork.

However, Coleraine went ahead on 25 minutes as Patching’s corner kick directly went into the net via the far post.

Despite having chances to go further in front, Carrick managed to pull level before the interval as Place got on the end of a flick on and dispatched beyond Ryan Schofield.

Carrick had the best of the second half chances as Joe Crowe and Daniel Gibson fired off target, whilst at the other end, Jamie McGonigle’s header was saved by Lorcan Donnelly.
