HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ victory against Carrick Rangers can now be viewed on the club’s official YouTube account…

Coleraine picked up all three points at The Showgrounds as they recovered from a one-goal deficit to see off the Amber Army.

The Bannsiders made a bright start and had efforts from Declan McManus and Joel Cooper – with the latter hitting the post – but fell behind on 26 minutes when Ryan Waide was alive inside the box to convert under the body of Aidan Harris.

After Carrick squandered opportunities on the counter attack, the Stripes levelled on the stroke of half-time as Levi Ives found Zane Okoro on the right-hand side and the winger cut inside and saw his shot deflect into the net via Ryan McKay.

The match-winning contribution arrived on the hour mark and in fine style as Will Patching’s inch-perfect pass released Jamie Glackin on the by-line. The midfielder was able to plant the ball across the box which found Joel Cooper who made no mistake.
