Oran Kearney’s men would make it three wins on the spin as second-half goals from Ben Doherty, Stewart Nixon and Eoin Bradley sealed the win against the Amber Army.

In a subdued first-half, the best chances fell to the visitors as Gareth Deane was called into action to flick over Jonny Frazer’s flick after the winger was found by Lee Chapman. However, the main talking point arrived just after the half hour mark as Ross Dunlop pointed to the spot but Deane thwarted Caolan Loughran’s effort.

Oran Kearney made two changes at the break as Stewart Nixon and Eoin Bradley were introduced from the bench and the Stripes took the lead on 54 minutes from the spot after Bradley was fouled inside the box. The ball was grabbed by Ben Doherty who blasted home his tenth goal of the season.

After Deane made several saves to deny Niall Currie’s men an equaliser, the hosts doubled their advantage on 86 minutes as Jamie Glackin’s cross found Nixon at the back post and he headed home against his former club. There was time for further joy as Bradley tapped home from on the line for his 50th goal in Coleraine colours.
