HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ victory against Glenavon can now be viewed on the club’s official YouTube account…

Coleraine picked up all three points against the Lurgan Blues as Joel Cooper and Jamie McGonigle were on the scoresheet.

The Bannsiders took the lead with 20 minutes on the clock as Zane Okoro’s blistering run down the right-hand side resulted in Cooper smashing home the opener.

Coleraine had chances thereafter as Mark Connolly headed wide from a corner, Senan Devine had a shot blocked and Cooper lashed a volley just inches over the crossbar.

Glenavon missed a big opportunity just before the hour mark when Jordan McMullan cut the ball back for Gavin Gilmore but his shot on the turn failed to land below the bar.

Bannsiders boss Ruaidhri Higgins elected to make a quartet of changes as this paid dividends when Dean Jarvis squared the ball for McGonigle to expertly finish with aplomb for a 2-0 victory.
