However, the two goal cushion quickly diminished as Steven Douglas fouled Daniel Larmour inside the box and O’Connor tucked away the resulting spot kick.

The eighth and final goal of the contest would be scored by Glenavon and via a familiar source as Matthew Fitzpatrick was in the right place and the right time to stroke the ball past Deane.
