Oran Kearney’s men would record a third successive defeat as a brace from David McDaid earned the visitors all three points on the Ballycastle Road.

The Bannsiders would make a bright start and threatened after three minutes as Stephen Lowry played through Jamie Glackin on goal, however, the attacker’s lob failed to find the back of the net. On 11 minutes, Larne would take the lead as McDaid fired an unstoppable effort into the net from outside the box.

Tiernan Lynch’s men would miss another glorious chance through Ronan Hale but stretched their advantage on 39 minutes as Herron and McDaid combined inside the box and the ex-Coleraine striker made no mistake with a crisp finish.

The Stripes needed a better second-half performance and they almost pulled a goal back midway through the half as Glackin’s cross found Bradley but his header went straight into the arms of Devlin. Minutes later, James McLaughlin’s drive was parried by the Larne stopper and Glackin was unable to divert the rebound on target.
