Match Highlights vs Larne

HIGHLIGHTS from the Bannsiders’ win against Larne are now available to watch on the club’s official YouTube channel…

The Bannsiders would make it five successive wins in the Danske Bank Premiership as Stephen Lowry and James McLaughlin Bradley got on the scoresheet at Inver Park.

Oran Kearney’s men would make a bright start to proceedings and were awarded a penalty after six minutes as Lyndon Kane was pushed to the ground by Ronan Hale. The ball was grabbed by Stephen Lowry who comfortably dispatched from 12 yards.

That lead was doubled just five minutes later as Stewart Nixon robbed Albert Watson deep in the Larne half and he played through James McLaughlin who comfortably made no mistake.

Larne enjoyed the lion’s share of possession from then until the end of the half but they failed to overly test Gareth Deane, apart from an effort from the edge of the area by Davy McDaid.

The second-half started with Larne on the front foot but they didn’t make their pressure count until the 73rd minute as Albert Watson headed in from a corner kick, before Johnny McMurray rattled the crossbar as Coleraine held on for all three points.
