The Bannsiders would move up to second in the Danske Bank Premiership standings after a 3-1 win against Tiernan Lynch’s side.

After a tight start to proceedings, Coleraine would hit the front on 25 minutes as Jamie Glackin fired home from inside the box, however, that lead would only last ten minutes as Ben Doherty levelled the scores after being found by Mark Randall.

Just before the half-time whistle, the hosts would regain the advantage as Patrick Kelly laid the ball into the path of Conor McKendry. The winger would hit a long range effort at goal that deflected off Cian Bolger and into the back of the net.

The three points were sealed just before the hour mark as the Stripes went 3-1 ahead after referee Shane Andrews pointed to the spot as Kofi Balmer was adjudged to have fouled Josh Carson inside the area. The penalty was confidently stroked into the net via the post by Lyndon Kane for his first goal since February.
