Coleraine recorded their sixth-straight Premiership win after a 1-0 success against the Roesiders.

The Bannsiders created plenty of chances as Adam Brooks, Joel Cooper, Will Patching and Cameron Stewart all had sights of goal but to no avail.

However, the deadlock was finally broken on the stroke of half-time when Dylan Boyle’s pass played through Cooper and he made no mistake with a finish on the slide.

Coleraine knew the importance of getting some breathing space but efforts from Cooper, Patching and Ben Doherty all failed to breach Marty Gallagher as Higgins’ men held firm for a 1-0 win and a deserved three points.
