COLERAINE visit Bangor for the second time this season as the Bannsiders aim to end January on a high (KO 3pm)…
SPORTS DIRECT PREMIERSHIP
Overview:
Coleraine made it back-to-back Premiership victories last weekend after a 2-0 success against Glenavon at The Showgrounds. Goals from Joel Cooper and Jamie McGonigle sealed the deal for Ruaidhri Higgins’ men who remain second in the table. The Bannsiders had been due to face Glentoran last Wednesday in the BetMcLean Cup but the game was postponed due to the effects of Storm Chandra.
Bangor come into the contest after suffering a narrow 2-1 loss at Larne last time out. A brace from Andy Ryan helped get the Inver Reds over the line despite Ben Cushnie halving the arrears just after the interval. Lee Feeney is set to be without skipper Lewis Harrison who was sent-off in the loss at Inver Park. Bangor have made an impressive start to their return to the top-flight and currently find themselves 7th in the standings.

Manager’s Thoughts:
“I think they’ve been absolutely outstanding and credit where it’s due,” Higgins said.
“They’ve been so, so competitive in nearly all their games and won a lot of tough games as well.
“They seem to have a brilliant spirit.
“I know their manager spoke about the spirit that they have in their group and that’s evident.
“We’ll have to be at our very best to go there and win because they’re a tough nut to crack.”
