COLERAINE finish November by travelling to Seaview for the second time this season (KO 3pm)…
SPORTS DIRECT PREMIERSHIP
Overview:
Coleraine suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time this season after they were beaten by Larne at The Showgrounds on Tuesday night. Two first-half goals ultimately did the damage as the Inver Reds leapfrogged Coleraine to the summit of the Premiership table. Bannsiders boss Ruaidhri Higgins revealed he has fitness concerns over several members of his squad this afternoon.
Crusaders were also in action on Tuesday night as they lost out 1-0 to Linfield at Windsor Park as Chris McKee’s finished edged out the Hatchetmen. Declan Caddell’s men are 10th in the Premiership standings but they have the league’s top goalscorer Fraser Bryden in their ranks. Crusaders have been eliminated from both the BetMcLean Cup and County Antrim Shield.
Previous Meetings:
Coleraine visited Crusaders back in September in the Sports Direct Premiership.
- September 6, 2025 (SDP) – Crusaders 0 Coleraine 4 (Cooper ’20 mins & ’43 mins, Shevlin ’45+2 mins, McManus ’79 mins)
Manager’s Thoughts:
“They’ve been in really good form and they were only narrowly beaten on Tuesday night and they had quite a few chances,” Higgins said.
“There was nothing in the game. They’ve really good attacking players, who are dynamic but it’s a game we’re looking forward to.
“I think our first half performance down there the last time was as good as we’ve been all season, and we would like a repeat of that if possible.”

The match referee will be Ross Dunlop.
