COLERAINE meet champions Larne as the two teams clash for the second time this season (KO 7.45pm)…
BOYLE SPORTS PREMIERSHIP
Overview:
Coleraine made it back-to-back wins in the Premiership after a 1-0 triumph against Cliftonville last Saturday. A solitary goal by Matthew Shevlin in the first half proved to be the difference as the Bannsiders continued to maintain their grip at the top of the table. The fixture marked a milestone for Ben Doherty after the full-back made his 100th appearance for the club.
Larne are the only team in the top-flight to remain unbeaten so far this season as they continue to play catch-up following their European commitments. Gary Haveron’s last Premiership outing was a 3-0 victory at Crusaders as Ronan Doherty, Jordan McEneff and Greg Sandiford got on the scoresheet last weekend. However, the Inver Reds suffered midweek disappointment in the County Antrim Shield after being beaten by Dundela on penalties.
