COLERAINE welcome neighbours Limavady United to The Showgrounds tomorrow evening in the first league meeting between the two teams since 2008 (KO 6pm)…
BOYLE SPORTS PREMIERSHIP
Overview:
Coleraine recorded their fifth successive victory on Tuesday courtesy of a 2-1 victory against Glentoran at The Oval. After Joe Thomson’s opener was cancelled out by Jordan Jenkins, it looked like both teams would have to settle for a share of the spoils until Lewis McGregor lashed home a stoppage-time winner for the Bannsiders. It means Ruaidhri Higgins’ men continue to set the pace at this very early stage of the season.
Limavady United travel to the Ballycastle Road full of confidence after back-to-back Premiership victories. After claiming their first win of the campaign against Crusaders, it was then backed up on Tuesday night with a 3-1 triumph against Bangor as Jamie McGonigle scored a hat-trick. Due to loan agreements, McGonigle and Alfie Gaston will be unable to play against Coleraine tomorrow night.

Manager’s Thoughts:
“It’s a really dangerous game, that’s how I view it,” Higgins said.
“When you get a late winner against Ballymena and when you get a late winner against Glentoran, you’re really high but it’s about coming back down quickly.
“It’s about switching your focus straight away, so for me, it’s a really dangerous game and if we’re not mentally in the right frame of mind, then we could come unstuck.
“But if we approach it the way I expect us too, then we’ve got an opportunity to put three points on the board.
“Limavady are in great form, credit to them, but we’re at home and our home form has been exceptional for over a year now and we need to keep that going.
