AHEAD of the final league match of the season here at The Showgrounds on Saturday evening, we wanted to take this opportunity to address some matters that have been raised across the last week by our supporters…

We are aware of Glentoran fans who may have purchased tickets within our home sections. A plan was formed prior to tickets going on sale to assist in managing this, and we are already working on identifying those who have done so. We appreciate that this could be a massively significant match for both teams, however that will not deter us from ensuring that we identify those individuals and take the required action necessary to avoid away fans being located in home support sections.

On matchday itself, we would advise any Coleraine FC supporter who does happen to identify an away supporter in the home end to report this to the nearest steward.

Enhanced stewarding and crowd management will be in place for the match to ensure that a safe environment is created for both home and away supporters in their dedicated sections of the stadium. This will include enhanced checks at all turnstiles, so we advise supporters to arrive early to avoid delays or long queues.

Finally, we remind all supporters that flares and pyrotechnics are not permitted within the stadium, and anybody found to be in possession of a pyrotechnic will be removed from the stadium and subject to further action by the relevant authorities. Furthermore, throwing objects on to the field of play will also result in removal from the stadium.
