COLERAINE FC would like to acknowledge the role of under-18’s captain Matty McNeill during the coronavirus pandemic…
Matty is currently a volunteer for Bushmills Coronavirus Support Group, who help those most vulnerable in their community by making food packs, preparing hot meals, shopping or collecting medications, as well assisting a few local shops for people to give food donations that go towards their food packs.
Under 18’s manager, Gary Devenney, told colerainefc.com that Matty’s commitment is infectious to those around him.
“Matty is our Under 18s captain, who has played over 10 games with the U20s so far this season,” he added.
“He’s an energetic and combatant midfielder who’s commitment to the cause acts as motivation to those around him.
“A mature head on young shoulders evidenced by his work by his voluntary work helping the community of Bushmills during this COVID-19 pandemic.”
Keep up the good work, Matty!
