McCauley: ‘I’m hoping to hit double figures’

DARREN McCauley speaks to Jonathan McNabb after his match winning contribution against Warrenpoint Town…

The midfielder admitted the Bannsiders ‘didn’t perform’ in the first-half but believes the victory was fully deserved. McCauley’s 69th minute winner was his first goal of the season, and the former Institute player has targeted double figures after scoring nine goals last season.

McCauley admitted he ‘relished’ the battle with Neil McCafferty in central midfield, but was happy to provide a danger when moved to the left-hand side.

Next up for the Stripes is a League Cup clash against Larne and McCauley stresses it is a match that Coleraine won’t be taking lightly.
