McCauley sleeping out in aid of charity

COLERAINE midfielder Darren McCauley is raising money for the Peter McVerry Trust next weekend…

The 26-year-old will be sleeping out on the streets of Dublin next Saturday (Dec 23) from 8pm to 8am in the hope of raising awareness and funds for the Trust which tackles homelessness in Ireland.

McCauley – who is living in Dublin through University – hopes to raise as much money as possible in addressing this issue. The club’s top scorer admits the rate of homelessness in Dublin is a ‘serious situation’ and would be very thankful for any forthcoming donations.
