COLERAINE striker Emmett McGuckin is hoping to raise some money for charity after agreeing to take part in a Walk a Million Step Challenge…

The initiative has been brought forward by O Donovan Rossa GAC, who have formed a partnership with ALPs and Talk To Tom to walk a million steps over the summer months.

Starting on the final day of Mental Health Awareness Week, May 24th 2020, until World Suicide Prevention Day September 10th 2020, those involved can change lives across the country whilst promoting Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention.

Those who are interested in taking part can do so by Walking, Running, Jogging, Dancing over 109 days, you are asked to achieve the million steps. The challenge can be done on your own, in a family or a team setting, it is entirely up to you.

Registration is £12 and can only be done online.

Once registered, you will be sent a welcome pack with all details needed to complete this challenge.

We ask you please encourage everyone you know to get involved and lets all step out together for the summer promoting positive Mental Health.
