DECLAN McManus spoke to Johnny McNabb after playing a vital role in last night’s home win against Dungannon Swifts…

McManus was on the scoresheet alongside Jamie Glackin as the Bannsiders chalked up a 2-0 success.

The striker stated that the squad weren’t happy with their start to the game but his goal helped as the Bannsiders broke the deadlock on 26 minutes.

His goal came after a sublime cross by Joel Cooper and the Glaswegian opened up on the blossoming partnership between the pair.

McManus had been on the bench for the first two games but he stated he was patient in his bid to make a mark when called upon.
