CONNOR Murray says the move to the Irish League has come at a good time in his career…

The attacker agreed a loan move to the Bannsiders until January on transfer deadline day from Scottish side Hamilton Academical.

The 27-year-old outlined how he is eager to get started at his new club and how playing in the number 10 role or on either flank is his best position.

Murray recalled playing in Hamilton’s win at The Showgrounds in last season’s SPFL Trust Trophy and how conversations with head coach Dean Shiels inspired him to make the move across the Irish Sea.
