Neill joins Academy coaching staff

COLERAINE FC can today confirm that John Neill has agreed to coach at the Academy…

The former Bannsiders utility man has just finished his career in playing and has made the immediate jump into coaching.

John Gregg, the Head of Youth Development at Coleraine, admits he is ‘over the moon’ at Neill’s decision to join the club.

“It is great to have John coaching at the Academy,” he said.

“He has just finished playing and is now getting stuck into his coaching badges and he can’t wait to get started.

“He is a great lad and I’ve been in his ear for a long time now and I’m over the moon that he is coming into the club to work with young players.

“John has all the qualities to be a great coach and he has already had a great effect on the young players in his short time with us.”
