COLERAINE FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Selfridge as the club’s new Head of Business and Community…
In his new full-time role, Jamie will oversee business and revenue development, community development, and growth in our engagement between local businesses and our community for the benefit of the club.
Speaking about the appointment, Chief Executive Officer, Dale Pryde-MacDonald said: “It’s fantastic to have Jamie joining the team here at The Showgrounds on a permanent basis. Jamie has vast experience in the business development field, as well as really good knowledge of the local area and both will be invaluable to us moving forward.
“We wanted to create a clear collaboration between what we do within our business portfolio and how that aligns with our community engagement and it’s an exciting role that has been put together.
“Our business outcomes are vital to the progression of the club. We have had time to really look at what we want our offerings to be moving forward, and we have to generate significantly more income than we are at present. That is no easy task and it will be a team effort to achieve our outcomes with Jamie being a vital part of that team.
“In a community sense, a lot of work is ongoing in this area and it is imperative that continues. We have a really important role to play with our local community and bringing people together. Jamie has already been involved with a number of initiatives and we look forward to seeing his hard work continue across our community engagement plans.
“I think with the right support and encouragement both our areas of the club can really thrive, and we can be best in class in both business and community engagement across football in Northern Ireland. There is a lot of work to be done but I genuinely believe we are getting really good people involved who will contribute to the forward trajectory of the football club.”
