No Mulling Over

COLERAINE FC is pleased to announce that Adam Mullan has signed a new contract with the club…

The defender has agreed a new two-year deal with the option of a third.

The Limavady man has been a mainstay in the Bannsiders squad since making his debut in a North-West Cup tie back in 2012.

The 25-year-old has made 210 appearances and has lifted the Irish Cup and League Cup during his time on the Ballycastle Road.

Coleraine boss Oran Kearney acknowledged that Mullan is determined to make up for lost time after a knee injury limited his involvement during the 2020/21 campaign.

“In the 2019/20 season, Adam was right up there as a contender for Player of the Year and a big part of our success,” he said.

“Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury last year and that limited his game time but he played a big part in the final three matches of the season.

“Thankfully he is over that issue now and in his own words he is hoping to make up for lost time.

“It has been a busy three weeks and we are delighted to get all of our out of contract players sorted out.”
