CONOR McKendry insists wingers will always be judged on their numbers after putting in a Man of the Match performance against Ballymena United last night…

The Carnlough native centred the ball for Matthew Shevlin’s equaliser in the first-half before providing another excellent assist for Shevlin again as the Bannsiders recovered from a goal down to win 2-1.

McKendry was, unsurprisingly, named Man of the Match for his efforts and he told Coleraine TV how a productive pre-season paid dividends ahead of the return to competitive action.

The former Larne man also reflected on the team’s overall performance as the Stripes face Loughgall away from home next Friday.
