The former Cliftonville Chairman remarked on the Reds’ success against Coleraine in last Sunday’s BetMcLean League Cup final.

Speaking to Damian Mullan and Johnny McNabb, the NIFL chief spoke about the record attendance at Windsor Park, the likelihood of another final on a Sunday and the relationship between clubs in the pyramid.

Lawlor also discussed at length about the potential stadia funding, as well as the Irish League’s potential to develop more players into the Northern Ireland international set-up.
