OK not expecting much business

COLERAINE manager Oran Kearney is still on the lookout for a January bargain…

Having already snapped up Matthew Shevlin from Linfield, the astute boss continues to survey the market.

“We are always on the look out for possible signings and we are no different this time round,” said Oran.

With the season disrupted – and the lower leagues yet to start – the transfer window has been relatively quiet to date.

“There’s not a lot happening and I wouldn’t expect a big lot.”

The Showgrounds boss is hoping his recent capture will be available for selection against Dungannon after missing the Carrick Rangers match through injury.

“Matthew hurt the ankle on his first night at training.

“He damaged the ligaments but we are hopeful a couple of weeks will sort it out.”
