OK raring to go

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney acknowledged that the landscape has changed in the Irish League in recent months but has full faith his squad can compete at the top level yet again…

The Bannsiders have completed their pre-season preparations as they get set to battle against Larne tomorrow evening at Inver Park.

Kearney admits there is a feeling of ‘fakeness’ throughout pre-season but that will be put to one side as they square off against Tiernan Lynch’s troops.

With more clubs moving into a full-time environment, Kearney was quick to point out that this will present more of a challenge but was quick to remind the success of his squad who have qualified for Europe in the last two seasons.

Kearney remarked that he is ‘delighted’ with how Rodney Brown, Conor McKendry and Cathair Friel have settled into life at The Showgrounds and failed to rule out further additions to his squad.

Coleraine are expected to have 600 fans at Inver Park and Kearney is hopeful that supporters will be allowed to watch their clubs across all the venues in the Danske Bank Premiership.
