COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney was pleased to see his side overcome Ballymena United in the annual Boxing Day fixture…
The Bannsiders would earn their first win in four matches as first-half goals from Josh Carson and Jamie Glackin were enough to seal all three points against the Sky Blues.
Kearney explained that the month of December was made more difficult due to “aches and pains” in the squad, but believes that yesterday’s performance was the Coleraine of September, October and November.
The boss was also pleased with how clinical his side were in front of goal and praised both sets of supporters for the high attendance at The Showgrounds.
With the fixture against Linfield coming up tomorrow afternoon, Kearney insists that recovery is the main priority ahead of a busy schedule of fixtures.
