OK’s squad rotation is excellent – Allen

COLERAINE TV spoke to Curtis Allen after the striker bagged a brace in the 2-0 win against Carrick Rangers…

After a goalless first-half, Allen showed his predatory instincts by finding the back of the net on 59 and 76 minutes as the Bannsiders moved up to third in the table.

It would prove to be a memorable week for Allen as he celebrated his 33rd birthday on Monday and he explained that the two goals epitomised his career as he was in the right place at the right time.

The ex-Linfield and Glentoran ace also praised Matthew Shevlin for his contribution off the bench and hopes that he can pass on his experience to the young forward.

Allen admitted that he won’t play every week but hopes that he has done enough to start this Saturday’s clash against Warrenpoint Town at The Showgrounds.
