Our ‘On the Spot’ series continues this week as Lyndon Kane is tasked with a series of questions…

1. Occupation?

Production Operator in Armstrong Medical.

2. Favourite player of all time?

Steven Gerrard.

3. Favourite meal?

Steak, tobacco onions and peppered sauce.

4. Pre-match breakfast?

Weetabix.

5. Any lucky traditions?

Right boot on first.

6. PS4 or Xbox?

PS4.

7. What teams do you support?

Liverpool, Rangers, Coleraine and Northern Ireland.

8. Three guests for a dinner – dead or alive – who do you pick and why?

Steven Gerrard – for the stories from his life and career.

Kevin Bridges – the man is a legend and would keep everyone laughing.

James Corden – I think he’s absolutely hilarious.

9. Favourite movie?

American Sniper.

10. Your favourite moment as a Coleraine player?

Scoring in the Irish Cup semi-final against Larne.

11. If you were deserted on an island, which Coleraine player would you choose to be with and why?

Steven Douglas – I could sit and listen to him all day everyday! Some of the stories he has from his career are unbelievable.

12. Who is your room mate on European trips?

On the trips to Serbia and Wales it was James McLaughlin.

13. If you could be a Coleraine player for one day who would it be and why?

Steven Douglas – he’s always the life and soul of everything and is always having a laugh. I’m sure a day in Dougie’s life would be very interesting.

14. What other sports do you play?

None.

15. Who is your best mate at the club?

There’s a few as we are a very close group but to name a few it would be Parky, James, Adam, Burnsy and Josh.

16. Does playing for the team you love mean that little bit more to you?

Yes, of course. When I was playing as a kid I always wanted to represent Coleraine, so it makes every game that I step out on to the pitch extra special.

17. What’s the latest with the injury? Was the operation a success?

The operation went very well and it’s simply a waiting game now. I will be in the walking boot for at least another four weeks and then we will take it from there.
